ABOUT ME
I have been crafting as long as I can remember. I grew up in an artist's home where I watched my mother paint, sew, and create. The house was full of beautiful paintings and I learned early on that you could pretty much make anything! When I was in middle school, I really started to get interested in beads and making jewelry. The bigger the better. By highschool, I was already selling my jewelry to friends. I fell into beadweaving in 2002, after being introduced by my mother. I was hooked from my very first purchase of those teeny tiny seed beads. I am completely self-taught and love to share my passion with others.
My love for sewing started in 1997 shortly after the birth of my first daughter. I taught myself how to read through a pattern and made all our clothes, bags, and toys! I absolutely love it and have started to really fall in love with purse making and filling a need to organize myself. I can often be found wearing my creations from my clothes to my jewelry to my bags and find joy in all of it.
I have been teaching beading and sewing since 2006 and also love teaching camp and reaching the young children who have yet to discover the joys of crafting!!
